11/8/10 - Guess who's not dead yet? College is still being a drag, but I'm trying to get this story picked back up. Keep holding on, I'm sure I'll get there eventuallly!
8/3/10 - State notes on Texas released today, in preperation for chapter 4, which I hope to have up tomorrow afternoon.
7/31/10 - And chapter 3 is up! Yes! Every little stride forward... Anyway, please enjoy this chapter!
7/28/10 - Oh, I am so upset. I spent some time down here today working on chapter 3, and as I was trying to log out, I saw that it couldn't save. I thought it might have already saved at some earlier point, so I didn't worry about the sentence or two I would have to lose, figuring I could re-write those later.
It hadn't resaved. I lost nearly everything I'd worked on. Oh man, that bites.
So I'll have to re-write all of the stuff I lost. Expect some setbacks, and I'm sorry for the delays.
7/24/10 - And with the posting of part 2, chapter 2 is finished. I'm relieved; I thought I would never get that thing done. It feels very strange to simply power through writer's block rather than let things take thier course.
But now Arizona has arrived on the scene, with a copy of S.B. 1070 literally in his hand.
7/21/10 - So the date on chapter 2 part 1 is wrong, but I don't really care. The darn thing got so long I had to break it in half, and I have to get back to work if I want to get that second part up soon. (And I do.) I'm using chapter 2 to propel myself into the real plot of the fic, and I'll give you a spoiler to prove it: At the end of chapter two we meet ... the state of Arizona
7/10/10 - My, I forgot to update this yesterday. NR was updated yesterday, and today I finally managed to embed a video in the sidebar. I haven't been able to do that in eons, and I love this song, so I'm glad everything worked. Anyway, please enjoy the story!
